An institution in himself. He dominated the education scenario not only in Bhavnagar but entire Gujarat. His unique approach to educating the child through freedom reaped rich rewards. His attitude towards life and education was one of Love, Humanity and Freedom. He founded the HOME SCHOOL and was later responsible in bringing the University in Bhavnagar. He was appointed the first Vice-Chancellor of Bhavnagar University. He was offered the "Padmashree", but refused to accept the same. He pioneered the concept of Co-education, Psychological approach to education, Sex education and Physical education. He was the first few to implemented the Dolton plan of self education. Working on his own unique principles of Freedom to the Child , HOME SCHOOL became a model school in the state of Gujarat . His Contribution in the field of Education remains unparallel in the Saurashtra region.
